PROJECTS
Conventionally; Fall 2024 - Present
My current personal project is building an iOS application in Swift that will allow events and fan convention companies to manage their schedules and allow convention-goers to make the most of their time. This project has given me the chance to work with SwiftUI, Swift Data, and Firebase all while thinking through my own product from the ground up.
CAPSTONE PROJECT AND UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH, GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY; OCTOBER 2014 - MAY 2016
Built the EasyRead tool for the Learning Technologies Research Group during my junior and senior years. EasyRead is a tool for instructors teaching adult learners how to read. EasyRead allows instructors to bring in texts from outside sources and simplify them to a target reading level through context and level aware word replacement suggestions and sentence difficulty indicators. The application is built on the Play Framework and makes use of Java and Scala.
iOS DEVELOPER, PLAYGROUNDHIIT; JANUARY 2015 - APRIL 2015
Spent second semester of my junior year building a Swift Application for another student’s Senior Project. The application is designed as a High-Intensity Interval Training application for parents. The idea behind the app is that all exercises are something a parent could do while with their kids at the playground. The application uses common iOS interface components and 3rd party frameworks for graphing and timing to deliver an interesting take on HIIT.
